Arbitration 5/4/09
Today was our day for arbitration.  After we arrived, a fax was delivered that the business was going to file bankruptcy.  We will most likely never see a penny from this 'so called' builder but I feel a responsibility to get the word out to other people to steer clear of these people when they start back up again.  A 3 month basement remodel turned into a year nightmare.

Brookwood Home Builders Started The Big Screw from the start
Brookwood Home Builders in Charlotte, NC started messing up the moment we put our name on the contract. The first big screw up was the day they sold us a house that would not fit on the "only" lot available......it took this Quality Builder three months to figure their error. More to come

Kimball Hill Homes Files for Bankruptcy--Nations 20th Largest
Kimball Hill Homes of Chicago filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy at the end of April. Kimball Hill ranked number 20 amongst the largest 100 builders for 2007 with 3246 closings for the year.
